This Valentine’s day is a little different than the rest. It is the first time in my life I have a little man to celebrate it with. So, in keeping with my family tradition, I got him a card and a small heart shaped box of chocolates just like what my mother used to get for me. He seemed happy with it, though I don’t think he entirely appreciated the card or the gesture, lol. He is a little bit spoiled, I’d say, and though he is probably the sweetest boy on the planet, he doesn’t seem to know how good he has it, either.
I can say this though- He is the best valentine I have ever had. He brings such joy on a daily basis and he makes me realize just how important it is to be a good role model. Soon his sister will be here too, so I am looking forward to meeting her. She’s Princess Ivy, and according to Little Man, she needs a princess dress for when she arrives.
